I have had a lifelong passion for porcelain. I can’t resist a pretty cup and saucer. I consider them to be perfect little pieces of art! I had been building up a little collection for some time, before doing so professionally.

The idea for Ali’s Vintage began to form when I wanted a vintage look for my own wedding. I didn’t just want vintage crockery and glassware. I also loved the idea of having candles and fairy lights sparkling through glass. Peonies and roses in vintage vases added to the charm.

I began sourcing beautiful pressed glass and crockery. Eventually, I achieved a gorgeous and eclectic mix of all sorts of glass cake stands, bon-bon bowls, and stemmed vases.

My wedding was beautiful, and just as I’d imagined it to look. Friends loved the idea and spread the word. I gradually began providing vintage crockery, bunting, and props for other people’s big days.

For me, it’s not just a business. It’s a love of creating a beautiful and special event. I enjoy seeing all my amazing and much-loved crockery, cutlery, and glassware being used. They bring joy to hundreds of other people!
